salvage yards are a good place for replacement parts.

You can just sand down the paint off the headlamps with 600 then 1000 and finally 1500 grit sand paper..Then just polish or apply clearcoat to bring back the origional finish.

Just rattle can the interior peices silver again.. Will probably look better than the nasty silver finish that comes from factory anyway.

i just bought my first box (i say first cause i intend on buying a second.) used and the trim on the dash was a bit banged up. I was thinking about sanding them down and painting them the same color as the out side of my car. Is there any suggestions on the best way to do this?

There's probably a ton of DIY posts here & elsewhere that will give you step by step instructions. For mine, I got color-matched paint from Space Age Paint in Mesa. I've gotten a lot of supplies from them & they seem great. Not the cheapest, but definitely good, knowledgeable people. I scuff-sanded my pieces with some 800 grit, primed with Plastic primer, sprayed with the color (Space Age will put it into rattle cans for you for $5 if you don't have a sprayer/compressor), cleared them over, & carefully wet-sanded, polished, & waxed them. I dunno if all that was necessary, but I did it anyway. Turned out pretty good, I think. Even if you don't want to go that far, I'd say at least be careful with your masking, use a primer, & clear over the color & you should be alright. Gimme a call if you want some help. Maybe we can set up another Garage Day & do it up. Good luck...//TJ
