Did I get your attention? Yes, you, I mean you!

My friends at JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) are looking for BIG, STRONG, MANLY MEN - or skinny wimpy men, or any kind of woman! - to help set up for a function at Cardinals Stadium this Sunday from 1 PM to 4 PM. The Walk to Cure Diabetes Kickoff Luncheon is on Monday, Sept 18th at 11:30, and we are helping to set it up on Sunday afternoon. Also needed are volunteers to help staff the luncheon on Monday (I don't think it involves serving food! Just helping set up and getting materials out to people and stuff like that) - the bonus there is that you can stay after the luncheon and take a guided tour of the new stadium!! Surely that must appeal to some of you folks out there, whether you are Cards fans or not - it's one more good reason for me to call in sick to work that day!

RBasil, strong or not, if you can be there, we would be glad to have you! Everyone in the JDRF office is female, so any extra hands at all are welcome - male, female, or someplace in between....they are hoping for lots of volunteers from all over, not just Scion folks - I just figured that some of you might like a "free" look inside the stadium.

 

If Basil forgets to take a shower, he is really strong. lol

 

I am sorry. I would be more than happy to help normally, but I have committed to re-do my Grandmother's bathroom this weekend.
