So I am new to this manual trans thing. Driving in traffic sux but you know. Randode hooked me up with his Short Shifter Mod.
This mod is worth every penny. The throw is much shorter and it is still OEM quality parts. DO IT!!

shorty's are the bomb - there are alot of different options out there!

did you get the bushings too? it will feel even better with bushings!

 

don't have one on the scion yet(week old) but the mustang has a short throw and i love it. i wonder if i should go drop some of the paycheck on that... yeah i'll do it

 

We didnt do the bushings, just a little geometry.
For RMS, I shortened the handle height 1.5", and the throw 30%.
I can make the handle height whatever you want, but the shorter you go, the harder it gets on your shoulder.
I think i'm going to go the other way on the one for my car. Like extend the handle 3 feet ala Rat Fink style.

 

You need to top it off with a skull with lighted eyes

BUY THE RANDODE SHIFTER, YOU CANT FIND A BETTER SHIFTER FOR THAT KIND OF MONEY!

 

Had mine for almost a year now still love it like day one.
