No, I was born and raised in Arizona, just went to Hong Kong for work. I really liked it there. I know the really nice hotel I stayed at was about $90 a night and two of us could eat dinner for about $15 total, but I didn't really get to see prices on much else. 500mL cans of beer were about $1.50 at 7-11, not too much different from here and they told me cigarettes were about $5 a pack.

haha my parents are from HK too and i just showed these pix and they were astounded. HK changed so damn much after these years...
I've never been there before, but there was construction everywhere, so I can sure see how it would be changing a lot.

Thanks for sharing, those are some amazong pictures. I had heard HK was nice but damn it looks like a fun place to visit. Where the people nice to you?

Oh and I am sure the dude in the Xb sped off cuz he saw some crazy white dude with a camera running after him.

The people were all really nice. Most places you went you could get menus in English and most of the people spoke English, especially if you stay near tourist areas.

that's cool. being an architecture student, the museum and building styles in the east are awsome. i think i have seen some of the buildings in some of my classes.
