Im paying 87 dollars per month with 500 dollar deductibles through state farm. I have been with them 13 years with no tickets or accidents. i noticed that you were 21,and that usually means a higher rate right off the bat. You just have to shop around and compare.

Here is a link to the tC Owner's Lounge. Has a thread or two on insurance to give you an idea on a nationwide scale. Should only vary slightly based upon location.

Me personal, I have a little something on my record for one more year then it is gone. I pay approx. 100/month.

Not that I recommend this, but unless you get married, you will have to wait until you are 25 to get better rates. Once you turn 25 or get married, the same thing happens. Inurance companies feel that you become more responsible if you are married.

My bad, it was early when I first replied, it is actually about 145 a month, math was a little bit off. When I was 21, I was paying almost 250 a month for just me. When I was 16 it was even better, I was paying roughly $3500 a year just to have my 89 Toyota sit in the driveway. Liability only, no collision...I didn't have my license at the time because it had already been suspended for speeding and an accident or two.

Yeah Insurance!!!

If you rent get renter's insurance also. Makes it cheaper for your auto insurance!

Not to mention, with all of the apartment fires recently, I would not rent without it. If the appartment or house you are renting burns, you are SOL for your stuff. The owner's policy will not cover your stuff. Renter's insurance is cheap and will really help on your auto insurance bill.

I pay 280 a month for three vehicles all full coverage. The Scion is around 80, the 2006 Beetle is about 110 (I think because it is a convertable), and our 2003 mini van is about 90 a month.

We pay $100 give or take a couple bucks for full coverage, and two drivers, and My wife is only 23. We use nationwide.

i pay 1100+ for half a year. this is WITH the good driver discount and stuff. state farm is good....but it's weird how insurance works. you pay alot for something that doesn't happen often, but when it does, they jack up the price on what you're already paying an arm and a leg for....

It is the only thing that will help besides turning 25. Sad but true. That is why Chris's is cheaper eventhough his wife is under 25. The youth get screwed. That was what I have always said. Even back in the dark ages before I turned 25.
