I have been driving my car today and nothing has been acting out of the norm. Later tonight I try and lock my door via key, and it wont react. So thinking to myself someone didnt close the one of the doors all the way. So I re closed ALL the doors. Now knowing that all my doors are closed my key is still not locking/unlocking. Am I the only one that had this problem today?

 

If your key/remote got wet. . yea... that would cause it not to work, like any other car alarm remote water and electronics don't mix to well.

 

If it did it wasnt much. The little red light still lights up when u press the buttons

 

the battery could be dead/dying too... that little led doesnt take much power to light up...

 

I have noticed my xb do that when it rains. The worst door is the pass side front door. It only seems to happen when there is a bunch of rain on my car.
