I posted this as a new topic to make sure that everyone rolling out at that time saw this and didnt miss it in the other thread for the roll out times.

I propose that instead of meeting up at the Best Buy parking lot which can serve us no purpose, we meet up at the QT parking lot at 48th st and Baseline about a block west of the I-10 east. Last year it took us about 1.5 hours just to really get going because there were many getting things from wal-mart, then we had to get gas, and it was just a waste of time. If we meet up at the QT its large so all of us have room, even the trailer queens , we can all top off our tanks, all get some much needed caffeine, and its just a single right turn out onto Baseline to the I-10 east and then a right turn onto the freeway.

To get to this QT you just take the I-10 east and get off on Baseline, go west to 48th st past the Frys electronics and it's right there on the SW corner of 48th and Baseline.

Please throw out opinions on this location change so I can change it on the other thread if need be with the roll call of who is leaving so no one gets left behind.

 

I am game for whatever, I do remember it was a pain trying to get rolling this year and would love to avoid that again! Like I said at CB....."O tay bai me buttwheat!"

I will have to meet up with you guys somewhere though. I am not going to drive 45 minutes the wrong way to go right back by where I am coming from.
The thing is that I think alot of people already know about the Best Buy place and changing it at the last minute is kinda hard. But I will meet up with you guys on the freway.

 

As I told ScottyJ yesterday, I really don't care, either or works for me. I do agree with the ease of the QT, but maybe this year we can just plan ahead???

 

I'm with you J. I'm going to have to catch up to them on the highway also.

 

if we want to keep the BEst buy location still thats fine, i would highly recommend everyone plan ahead so that we don't have what happened last year then.

 

we'll just keep it at the Best buy location and make sure you're all topped off on gas before you meet up. This way there is no chance for confusion.
