Default Manual Mirrors

Check out this eBay bid. I want to buy these mirrors, but they said they are ment ONLY for manual mirror fitment. I know that means no more power windows but, if I buy them, what do I do with all the cables for the power mirrors?

I'm not sure how this needs to work and don't want to buy them if I can't use them due to my automatic mirrors.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

EDIT: opps, guess I should include the link huh...

There are also these mirrors, but I think the first ones look nicer, considering nothing on my car is carbon fiber and I don't ever plan on doing caron fiber.

i had these on my 98 Accord. bad quality, wiring was cheap, bad fitment. but for +30-40 buck, i guess it cant hurt to try. i got these when they first came out and paid WAY too much for them...

I have heard that there are fitment problems with these mirrors, also the first ones you are looking at do come in power, just keep searching. Remember you buy what you pay for!

I don't haft to have power, just was curious if I can even install them powerless due to my existing mirrors having all the power stuff (wires?) running outside to the stock mirrors. $9 isn't bad. If I don't like em I'll re-sell em or throw them away. Good to know there was no fitment problems on the xb!

Also, I did find the first ones with power, but no changable LED. I wanna swap out the blue LED for a green one for show, and still have the legal amber for driving :D

I'll check on those FI's

Good point, never thought of the visibility problem. To late now! thankfully xB's have so much window space, I can just look over my shoulder.

I'll post picks up once done, if I can figure it out lol.

Time to look for a DIY on mirrors.
