The photo enforcement cameras on Valley freeways are apparently doing more than just taking pictures of speeders.

An Arizona House panel has learned that those cameras actually are taking video of every car that passes, and is keeping that video.

Governor Jan Brewer doesn't like it. "That was totally news to me and certainly there was an outcry from the people and I certainly was shocked. And I'm looking into that and I'm not comfortable with it at all."

The committee recommended that the House approve a bill that would remove the cameras from state highways.

 

Yesss!! And refund everyone who got a ticket from them!

I save my tickets. It's hard to get good action shots, and they give you a nice picture of yourself driving.

But whatever you do don't pay them. Even if they manage to serve you, fight the ticket, clog the court system. The reason why they offer plee deals is to keep the system moving efficiently. If we all take the; I want a trial offer, the system will be come so cloged they will stop enforcing the tickets.

It is realy a honor system anyway. Please sign and return verifiying reciept of ticket.

i hate those cameras, i got flashed because some asshat decided to slow way down to 25 and i stuck behind him because i didn't want to be a *****.
