I feel bad that I won't be able to have the video done by this weekend to give to people so I am doing something I don't normally do, and that is show a video I am still working on that is not finished.

I experimented with different image masks and effects, they still need some fine tuning which is what is going to take me more time. If anyone has feedback on what I have done so far I would love to hear it.

The video you are about to watch is just footage from the drive up to Silver City, I will be using the footage from the drive up and the sunday morning drive in seperately but they will both be on the same DVD when finished. For all those that might be worried that party at the hotel will not be posted online and will only be available on DVD to those that attended.

It's not bad, now for my 2 cents

I would try to get a higher resolution version of the Scion logo, because when you made it larger, you could see jagged edges on the circle...

The first video effect was cool (invert?), the one after it didn't fit very well.

The psudo turn table effect was cheezy and not that professional, so I would scrap that as well.

The stutters you did to make it match the song were nice, well done on those.

The turn table mask again... not very cool.

In all honesty, when I watch clips like that, I perfer to just see the footage as it is... no real crazy effects or masks. But like I said the stutters and the first Scion logo were well done, as well as the first visual effect.

And perhaps when the logo gets enlarged to fill the screen, fad the movie and into the title of the dvd?

i'm going to be bringing my camera probably to both. probably won't do much shooting of the actual driving though. unless i can learn cayla on my camera
