New Scion... Putting in System NEED HELP
Hows it going? My name is garrett, I live in Colorado Springs. I bought a Scion XB a month ago and have already installed a Remote start Viper alarm with automatic windows all of the way around. I had to get rid of the lifted Dodge Ram for gas and I LOVE MY box. I am looking to install my two audiobahn 12's in a bandpass jensen box with a capacitor and two amps, (yes I know I will have to replace my stock speakers when I blow them out but that will come soon enough
) I wanted to know the best way to run the wiring and pull the dash without cracking it. I have tried to pull on it a little bit but it seems to have a lot of resistance compared to the cars I have worked on before and I dont want to crack the dash. I have the Ipod Interface deck and am going to need the Line Output Converter (any suggestions to get one for a good price?) Any suggestions overall for the installation??? THANKS AHEAD OF TIME
It's actually really easy. I have a Tsunami LOC from circuit city, works well. There's plenty of how-tos on this site about removing the stereo. As for wiring, Power and remote down the driver side, rcas/speaker down the passenger side. Everything, for the most part, just pops off and back on.
