Default OEM foglight repair **advice needed**

Alright, so cruising to San Diego on Friday...got plowed by a blown out piece of tire from a semi rig. slammed into the front bumper cover and completely dislodged the OEM foglights.

My question is this...would it be easier for me to find out how to remove the front bumper and adjust it myself...or does anyone have any idea how much toyota would charge me to have it done by them. Car is no longer under warranty, and I am fairly mechanically inclined. Any ideas?

It's really not that hard to take the bumper off. Just a couple of clips and screws. I can take my bumper off in about 5 minutes since i know where all the clips/screws are now.

Save yourself the money and pop that light in yourself! Your wallet will thank you...

Here's a link that shows how to get the bumper off

well I did it...was really no sweat. It's sad the way those lamps are held in there...simply with pressure tabs. No darned wonder they became dislodged. The side where the tire cap hit left a bunch of stress cracks on the bumper and there were are a few broken tabs below on that side too.

Alright, so where to find a replacement bumper now.....always something!!

Thanks again for the link joe!
