Default Pics of Taiwan Trip (24 pretty big ones)

I was in Taiwan for work from Jan. 14-20, got to take a few pics while I was there. We finished work by 4:30 or 5:00 every day so we got to visit a couple of sights. I didn't work Friday, so I spent about 5 hours wandering around in the drizzle taking pics. I got soaked and my feet hurt for three days, but I saw a lot of interesting things. There was a Starbuck's on every corner, and about three 7-11's on every block.

National Taiwan University version of palm walk.

Taipei 101, the tallest building in the world at 101 stories.

Front gate to complex with Chang Kai Shek memorial, concert hall, and exhibition center.

Same complex during the day.

High school girls that wanted their picture taken with me.

Scooters everywhere.

Sports stadium, anyone recognize the 5?

Funny billboard.

Miscellaneous street pics.

Suzuki Solio, thought these were pretty cool. Saw a nice one with wheels, different spoiler and grilles, etc. but it was dark and the pic didn't come out.

I've got more, but these are the most interesting. What do you think?

Glad you guys like them! This was a good trip, lot of fun and short work days with no equipment problems. As long as you guys like them I'll try to post pics whenever I travel. I may be going to China and/or Canada in the next couple of months.

The company I work for makes equipment for laboratory testing of soil and rock strength, etc. When a customer buys a system someone from the company usually goes to set it up and train the customer to use it. Taiwan was really cool. I like being able to visit all these places, but being away from the family for a week kind of sucks. So do the 11 to 14 hour plane rides.

Not me, those people are crazy. I'm not sure why they have lines painted on the road, nobody stays in the lanes. Those scooters zip in and out and around, and there's not one in the entire city that's not covered with scrapes and dents.

Sorry, forgot about that. I'ts just the Mazda 5, thought somebody might recognize it. I had another pic with the Mazda banners, but that 5 was there on that side of the building all by itself, and the banners were inside the building on the back side (IIRC). They have ads on everything over there.
