anybody know of anywhere local that you can buy plastics, I am looking for a sheet of black ABS plastic, and maybe some plexi glass, both like .5" or thinner maybe.

bump this on Monday and I'll see if I can find anything local. GE Polymershapes is the only local place I can think of, we usually buy from out of town.

I want the ABS plastic to make a diversion panel, and the plexiglass for a rain cover for my hood, instead of using the black fiberglass one it came with I'd like to show off the engine more

 

if you're looking for plexi or lexan i recommend professional plastics in tempe, they had great pricing for me. I was able to get that lexan for the front of my box for only $50 and its 1 inch thick

 

I found plexi at home depot, already cut and installed

Now I just need some black ABS plastic

 

I buy most of my plastics from Port Plastics. Pro Platics and Regal Plastics are good sources also.

 

hay if possable i would use lexan over plexi.plexi is harder and cracks easer than lexan also lexan is stronger more bendable than plexi.
