Default Question for Moderator

Hi there,

I hope you dont mind answering this, I wasnt sure where else to ask. I am curious why I need to have 50 posts to post in the off topic area. I really wanted to jump in on the debate about Phoenix red light cameras but since it was moved I cant post there. I dont mind posting but at the same time I also dont like to be an attention ***** and will only post when I feel my input could be valueable so its going to take quite a while to get up to 50 posts. And I would probably post a lot more if I could post in the off topic area. I understand in areas like the classifieds of having 50 posts, I just wonder why the off topic requires it.

Thanks for the info!

Cheers
Rob

This really means, that to insure that the off-topic section of the website isnt abused by spammers and bots, you must have 50 posts. There's really no way around this, and i'm sorry that it is keeping you from posting there, but this is just a safety pre-caution for the website and its members.

I have a question -- Why was the phoenix red light camera topic moved in the first
place? Seeing as it was relative to phoenix and not a general question asked of all
city's or regions. Just curious - Ya Know

Seriously,

I was debating with a guy, I tell him we're talking about RLCs in PHOENIX and somebody tells me it's an off-topic post.

Needless to say that complicated things for me.

You were debating, he was doing something else.

I especially love how he can't argue the other side. Anyone who knows how to debate properly would be able to argue both sides.

I was going to try and help you out. Although you have been doing pretty good there were a few points I would have thrown in. For instance I lived in Northern Virgina and the Washington DC area for 6 years, when they were installing the lights. So I had a little insight.

Anyway, this is just one more post closer to 50. At least I understand the reasoning by it. I guess its one more excuse to upgrade to a premium account anyway. Now if I can get the wife to see the reasoning.

Cheers
Rob

I can't believe the apparent lack of education he's received. Simply incredible.

I can't believe people like that are given a license and allowed to vote.

Well, they locked the thread.

Oh well.

Easier than shutting that guy up I guess!

Ok -- I guess I'll never get a answer to my question. Oh well such is life

On a lighter note -- What to debate next or do we not want to go there?

I got one going here. Much deeper than RLCs, and I invited Duker to it.

Morbid curiosity probably, but I gotta see what he thinks about the topic matter.

I had to give up on him. There is no point trying to debate something with someone as unintelligent as he is. Any time you ask him a direct question, he'd change the subject.

Really, I hadn't noticed.

I PM'd him to tell him about the new thread, and to extend an "olive branch"

Didn't work.

Still doesn't like me.

I'm so crushed.

You could have invited him to the next poker run. I am curious how well he plays with others in "real life".

Cheers
