I-17, I-10, Loop 101, Loop 202 face restrictions this weekend

Projects will shut down part of the Loop 101 and restrictions will be in place on Interstates 17 and 10 and the Loop 202.

Projects will shut down or restrict parts of Loops 101 and 202 and Interstates 17 and 10.


• Loop 101 westbound will be closed between Tatum Boulevard and Cave Creek Road from 9 p.m. today to 11 p.m. Saturday for a carpool lane construction project. Westbound Loop 101 on-ramps at 56th Street and Tatum Boulevard also will be closed. Eastbound Loop 101 will be closed between Tatum Boulevard and Cave Creek Road from 11 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday for the carpool lane work. Eastbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Seventh Street and Cave Creek Road plus northbound Arizona 51 ramp to eastbound Loop 101 will be closed at those times.

• Westbound Interstate 10 ramps to north and southbound Interstate 17 will be closed from 9 p.m. today to 6 p.m. Saturday for lane striping. Eastbound I-10 on-ramp at 35th Avenue will be closed.

• I-17 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between Happy Valley Road and Dixileta Drive from 9 tonight to 5 a.m. Saturday for bridge work. Northbound I-17 on-ramp at Pinnacle Peak Road will be closed from 9 p.m. today to 5 a.m. Monday for ramp widening and guardrail work.

• Eastbound Loop 202 off-ramp and westbound on-ramp at Scottsdale Road in Tempe will be closed from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday for a Breast Cancer walk.
