The weather is getting hot out here. So lets plan a road trip to get out of the heat. I know there has been talk about making some long drives ie Denver adn such, but maybe we can plan out a day trip next month in July.

Maybe a trip up thru Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. Make a few stops, grab some lunch somewhere then head back down.

Lets get something going to get out of this heat.

i wont be here for this but i recommend trying a trip up to "Slide Rock" up in Sedona, natures own water slide. We tried a trip up there last time but it was when it just opened back up after the fires so it was packed. Maybe it would be better this time around.

 

I recommend a trip to Alaska. We should drive through Canada. Then slide across the Frzoen tundtras up north and camp out. We can watch the penguins tap dance and if we get thirsty those polar bears always have cokes in the commercials!!!

 

That is Oak Creek Canyon. Awesome scenery up there. Im sure all the Scions rolling thru that twisted road would be a site for sure. Ill go

i'll go back to Sedona as long as more people actually go.... everyone signed up but it ended up being 6 of us going last year... lets get a bigger group please

 

I enjoyed the ppl that did come, it was cool hanging with them, but when it came down to doing something after we ate, it was done. we all just left and went home.

 

Thats why we are all gonna contribute 20 bucks to Chad to get food so that we can get a decent barbecue going afterwards. Stay there till the sun sets and drive down sunset point in the dark with our neons on! if we get atleast 15 people, 300 bucks in food is a lot of hot dogs and hanmburgers. should last all day?

 

Let me know what kind of dates you are thinking, and I'll see if Randy will take a day off work with me to take a drive up. That's one of our favorite places to go to get away from Phoenix for a night. Absolutely beautiful!

There should be a rule, if you post that you will be some where on scionetics, and you dont show, you owe $5 to a BBQ fund.

 

That's a great idea but who is gonna take care of the fund? I don't trust you with that $$$. You might buy Amber some cathodes or something
