Default Rockblocker paint and Windshield Protection instal prices?

I've searched this topic in this forum and have not found any prices on instalation for
a complete rockblocker paint, and head light instal. I was wondering if anybody knows of any places in southern AZ that you could recommend. Any any idea what the price would run to do this for the xD when it comes out. Also can any of you recommend a film to protect the windshield. I found one called clearplex on the net but I don't know any thing about them. They say they instal it with some thermal process and a good installer should be anle to do it in 30 minutes. Does 3M have a product for this application? Thanks for any ideas. I know of a the dealer in AZ that does it for 450 for the rockblocker paint instal and I was wondering if this was a decent price. It seems high to me but I know these things can be a pain to instal. Also how long do these things last in the southern az sun before that start coming apart? Thanks again

I've had Rockblocker's full paint protection for 2 years and it looks brand new (except for all the little rock dings on the bottom lip). Rockblocker is a tC owner, event organizer, and sponsor of this forum, send him a pm.

Also if you are buying a film for the outside if the windsheild, it will get many hairline scratches and things because of the windsheild wipers (atleast this is what I have been told)

Shu,

The xD is not out yet so pricing will have to wait. The price is based on how much material it takes.

The process you are talking about is chemical bonding method that will make your windshield stronger but will still chip no matter what.

Once you move out to AZ and/or you get the xD the pricing for a lot of the items you are and will inquire about will be known then. The car is too far out.

How about the Rockblocker done on a 2008 xB? I'd like to have some protection against rock chips and such.
