Same here...Hanging out with good friends today is the only good thing about todays show. Shame to say that if it wasn't for us scion owners...there would not even been a show. And the promoters show us love by not having any food or beverage vendors, and then the slap in the face...39 cent Ribbons as trophys ...Are you F'n kidding me?!?!?!?!

 

Good seeing all that came out . Congrats to ALL the winners.

100% agree with kahuna, no food vendors and the ribbons was not worth a $30 entry to show .................

 

Also agree with Kahuna!! I not only paid the $30 for the show, but also paid $5 for Denise to park and gave them $40 and didn't get my change.

I was very disappointed in the way the show was handled . I personally will not be attending another show put on by this group.

Eh... yeah I was a little miffed at all that has been said, I was originally told the trophys were not done and would be shipped out, but then later I heard different. Ah well no biggie, not worries about it at all and not going to loose sleep over it.

Jim taked about the next event being at the airport in a Hanger, heck I would attend that just for the photography

I was very glad to hang out with you all and see some faces I have missed in the last couple shows. Good times and good conversation with friends cannot be replaced by a trophy, ribbon or any.hing like that. Was a good day overall. And while I was thinking "why did I rush home and get up at 4am to get a ribbon smaller than I won at the fair for a drawing I made in 1st grade" After I slept it off, all was fine.

I could only imagine how hard it was to get a show going, then have firebird mess it up so 30+ people ended up at the wrong show with no refunds... I felt pretty bad for them.

The drift event was VERY cool. Just glad none of them hit the toilets "with me inside haha"

Vendors were nice, Big two people were nice and gave out a lot of good gear. No limitz was in full force as well as Dezod. J with no limitz had grub for us early in the am which was very cool and appriciated!

 

Judging by the reactions from people this show was not up to our standards. Let hope the Tucson show out at SiR turns out a lot better.

 

I am beyond dissapointed in everyone right now! All I have heard is complaints about the show....sorry no one won an iPod or got a trophy!

I personally had a great time and can't wait for the next show! Jim, you know NL will be there in full force, ribbons or nothing at all...don't matter to us!!!!

 

Kyle, you can be disappointed all you want, I had a great time at the show hanging out with everyone, all I am saying is that when a show gets promoted and people are told certain things are going to happen and they don't.....well

I felt that since Jim was the one who set-up the show he should have been there, not in his drift car to hand out the trophy's/ribbons instead of making the vendors do it.

Maybe I was a little hasty saying that I would not go to another show, so after sleeping on it I will give Jim another chance
