Default Roof Rack

Has anyone bought a roof rack for their xb from a local shop? Any place around town with decent prices? I need to start hauling my MTB around and putting it in the back isn't going to work any more.

cant help too much but as an avid mtn biker and a tc owner go yakima, way way nicer imo than thule. My friend races rally cross with his VW and his 40pound dh bike on the rack (and yes hes crashed the car with it on) and he uses yakima and no problems. Also get a wind deflector, the noise is horendous with my rack before the deflector. I got my rack trays from the mtn bike dealer i used to work at and the roof rack from the toyota dealer i used to work at.

Yeah that would be cool and not ruin your gas mileage. Just a thought

The bike I believe is too tall..I could take off the front tire, however this could hamper my plans of the stereo system...I think I'd rather have the system...
