i got pretty lucky too, my girl isnt all that into cars, but she knows i am. for christmas she bought me an indash dvd player! i didnt ask for a thing! she knows when im excited about gettin a new mod and shes always counting down the days till it goes on with me. yesterday she asked me, "are you excited for tomorrow?" i replied asking for what? and she said " you get your new wheels put on silly!" i even forgot lol.

Sensitive topic for me...I got tossed to the side of the road over a car. I am definately into cars! But the issue with us was that he didnt want to include me in his passion. Not like I asked for much of his time, but I wanted to at least feel that I was there for him. It got to the point where he just didnt want to invest any of his time with me, and instead channel all of his time and energy towards his car. I was heartbreaking for me to be thrown off to the side like that. Never would have thought. And now because of that past experience every guy I meet who loves cars I get scared that I might be chosen over a car again.

Find a guy that makes more $$ that he isnt putting everything he makes into his car. Normally if you can find someone like that they are able to spread their $$ out into more places ....making everybody happy in the end.

He definitely got the short end of the deal. If you don't mind money and time being spent on the car, and you're willing to go to meets and shows then you're almost the perfrct woman! Somebody grab her before she gets away!!

$$ does help, but it's not everything.

That's just the thing! I enjoy going to car meets, car show, getting new mods, but I was left out when he did it to his car! Didnt make me feel like a girlfriend at all. I guess a minicooper is alot better in bed!

 

I meant for someone to grab you up just being supportive of the shows and meets.

i dont care, if i had to choose between my car or my girl, i would pick my girl anyday.

 

My wife is wonderful and supportive, from what I understand, that is very rare.

My wife, in my opinion, is the greatest woman in the world. She gives me a lot of crap, but she supports me 100% in everything I do. Even if it makes me look like an A$$.

In my opinion, that is the key to any relationship! Besides learing the two most powerful words in the English dictionary. "Yes Dear". lol

my ex wife HATED everything i ever did to my cars. she thought it was a huge waste of $$.

I love the fact that Erica is so supportive of my car habits. she never gives me any crap about buying something for the car. when it comes to shows, she is right there with me detailing the box. and when were done, she usually offers to help out anyone else who needs it.

YUP, I got me a gurl thats into cars. shes the reason ive done anything with the cars so far. otherwise id still be alll stock! I love My GURL!
