my friends turbonetics tc was stolen and wrecked. hes not sure how bad the damage is yet cause its at the impound. if its totalled im gunna try to get his turbo and tv from him .

Sorry to hear that. I would like to see pics also when you get them. More and more people are starting to say it is easier then they say to steal a tc.

that sucks, when the officer came out to look at my box when they stole the system out of it he told me the scions are quickly becoming the most popular cars to break into and steal since they usually always have something inside it worth stealing. subs, amps, school books (they think college kids are the majority of the people driving them), cd player, ect... I want a guard dog in my car to help protect my investment lol

 

Um...how exactly did they steal his car? Was he an idiot and left his key in the ignition or something?

lol nope, no shame. he doesnt think hes gunna get a new tc either. still no pics either, he said hes gunna try to get down there this week. i said to pull the damn turbo so we can run my car saturday if he gets to his car .

i asked him how it got stolen and he said he went to a party and left his car at a friends place. must have dropped the keys somewhere cause when he was sleeping his dad called him and said his car was wrecked by his dads place. so someone obviosly got ahold of the keys and knew where his car was.

Well, you can't steal the tc with out the keys, not unless you want to replace the ECU and then reprogram a bunch of other stuff. the simple thing to do is not leave your keys where they are gonna get stolen.
