Default Thanks to the A-Hole on 202

As you can probably tell from the title, I am a little ____ed right now... Thanks to some Stupid A-hole on the freeway. I now have a nice little dent on my hood. I was on my way back from Letting my puppy out at lunch crusing on 202 heading towards I-10. This dumb A$$ must not of been paying attention cause he ran over a piece of tire that was in the road, probably from a big rig that had blown and threw the damn thing up. I saw it pop up in the air and had no where to go. I hear a nice loud pop on my hood. couldn't see any damage from the drivers seat but when I got back to work. I got out and took a look at the hood.... and here's the damage....

Just take it to a dent removal joint and have it taken care of and all will be well

Yea that is what I am going to have to do. I'm glad that I had rockblocker on my car once again. there are no chips as you can see just a little smudge of rubber from the tire which I'll be able to get off when I get home.

I know that someone from the D&S area had this done by a dent removal place....where and how much did it cost ya? thanks

dood!! that sucks. I know how you feel though. i had this happen to me last week at work! The guy had a truck full of couches and poop and he didn't see my car! He's being cool about it though, already replaced my taillight and his brother manages a body shop so he'll be fixing the paint and stuff.

I was on the 101 right by Scottsdale yesterday and this idiot next to me was staring at the girl in front of me and didn't see a huge piece of metal on road. Lucky for me, my cat like reflexes, and my sticky new tires, I was able to safely swerve from disaster, but unfortunately the guy behind me had no time to react. Hey Mark, what would you say about some sort of adopt a highway program? Is there anyone who would be interested in something like that?

Sure. Let's take on 100 miles of Canada 1 somewhere near Calgary. No litter!

I dunno Dan. We can do this. The question is WILL WE?

Well the reason why I ask is that I always hear everyone complaining about the conditions of our roadways, but they never want to do anything about it, or have the help to do so. As an eagle scout, I used to do this with my troop up near the Heber area. I just think it could be something that we could set up, and we could sign up as like 'scionetics' or like 'friends and family of camelback toyota/scion', something to show that we can give back to the community. I think some people actually read those signs you know.

Just a thought.

adopting a freeway sounds like a great idea but hit me up next winter, aint no way i want to be out there picking up trash in 110 degree heat getting pelted by cigarette butts or dodging ricer boys driving like maniacs

I was out showing off my new xB on Sunday, hadnt even driven the car 25 miles and some idiot threw gum out their window and it landed on the hood of my car. Thankfully my wife noticed it before it baked on my hood. Ok so where do I pick up this RockBlock stuff and who can put it on for me? I am convinced!

Cheers
Rob
