Robert, I know we never formally meet but I know who you are through this site and a few meets where you had the FHC. Let me tell you man it sucks to hear your taking off all that great meaningfull work. This car was not ment to impress everyone it was ment to stir the American emotion of war, and the love for those fighting for this country. f someone thinks this was for you to get free stuff then thats their problem. Please don't let the dream/awareness come off.

I have family and friends in the armed forces and I've sent them all pictures and they have all asked me when they were going to see it in person and talk to the creator and thank him for it

After a lot of thought and input from the community (and my wife as well) I have an update.

#1 I will not be removing the wrap design from the Fallen Heroes Car.

#2 I will still be returning the products back to the companies who donated them. Any future products that go into the Fallen Heroes Car will be purchased at full price by me and me alone. This should clear up any concerns (by only a few people) that I created the FHC to "get free stuff". I would like to personally thank all of the companies who chose to donate items to the FHC. Please give these great companies your business. http://www.mtx.com http://www.garage1217.com http://www.streetwires.com http://www.varad.com

#3 Because of the local drama I (personally) will not be attending an local Scion club events. I will ask a few friends to take the FHC to any local Scion events if they are able to do so.

#4 I will continue to attend (myself) Scion related events outside of Arizona.

#5 I will continue to attend the many non-Scion local charity events myself that I have been going to each month.

#6 I will create new accounts on all of the Scion related forums that I belong to so I can participate in the forums without getting any special treatment because of the FHC. I will not be participating in the Scion Life Desert & Salt region forum so as not to get drawn into the drama like before. Nothing personal against the D&S members, most of you are great people!

This will be my last post under this username and will also be my last public comment on this issue. Those of you who wish to contact me privately can do so at fallenheroescar@robertbasil.com

I would like to thank the entire Scion community for your support!

I really like the wrap. If you recieved any free stuff because of it I would assume it would just be put into the xB to draw more attention to the vehicle. Also, if you got to a show with an unmodded vehicle you'll never get noticed.

I am so glad you decided to keep the wrap on the car!!! That car has brought so much awareness to this nation. The car is neither pro war or pro government, it is pro troops and it is designed to bring attention to those who have served and given the ultimate sacrafice for our country!

Glad you kept the wrap!!! I hope this thread shows you that most of us support you and the FHC. Thank you for everything you do!

When Robert first came in inquiring about us doing some work for him, I admit i was a tad skeptical, everyday it seems like someone is coming in asking for free stuff one way or another.

But in fact Robert NEVER asked for anything free. Never once did I feel like he expected anything from us. He was a great customer even considering some very odd problems we had with his double din. Robert I think what your doing for that car is really cool. I had just wished I could do more for it. Dont let one persons very rude comment effect you this badly. I have shown your website to many of my military customers and everyone has said how cool it is.

If you ever do any shows outside of the scion community, like fund raisers or whatever. Give me a call, I will be more than happy to roll with ya, and show with you and hang out, keep you company or what not.

I have to say that the comments are certainly inappropriate, they have no place and certainly make no sense other than to be hurtful. I am glad to see that at some level the box will remain in support of those who support us.
