I kept seeing the photo radar flashing. I hope is wasn't one of ours.

 

At the front of the line I was going the speed limit or under it by 5mph. The photo radar on the 101 does not go off until you hit 11mph over (76mph). I doubt it was one of the Scions as we were all just chugging along.

 

sorry for not comin around guys i was running around like a fool trying to inform the other clicks what was going on and where to go (you would be surprised how many had no clue where the pavillions were) once again the next one will be much better and i hope i didnt turn anyone off from it. Just seeing that stream of flashing down the freeway damn near brought a tear to my eye!

 

Yeah, it was a good turnout last night. The whole pavillions things was wierd because it looked like a bunch of cars just kept driving on the 101 as well. Was fun though, would be good to do some sort of charity event. Who knows how big it might get?

 

you sure it was photo radar or was it people taking pictures?? i saw flashing too but couldnt figure out if it was the photo radar or people taking pictures since i know we were all going under the speed limit so it couldnt have been us.

 

so did everyone just go home afterwards or did you guys do anything after getting back to the pavillions?

 

I went and saw some friends at Devils Martini North (North Scottsdale nightclub)

 

actually I jumped off the loop 101 at Olive(i think right behind you, then went straight through and got back on at the back of the pack, then I made my way back up to the front, and startled some people and then exited at Bell and went home, I think a bunch of people(like Chris) Jumped off the 10 at 99th or con't west, I should've followed him

 

Had I great time...good to see some of the oldtimers and newbies also

i take it you mean that you where taking pics while we drove by the PRadar cause I know you don't like racing, and 19 with a speeding ticket kills your insurance rates

I did not see any flashes on the second trip to the pavillions, but I did see them on the first. If that was you, that would have been funy as hell.

 

oh was that you? i thought i saw someone get off behind me and then just go straight across back on the highway...

 

^^yeah I tried slowing down to get to the back of the pack but I didn't want to go to far below the speed limit, so I just jumped off then back on then When I got off at Bell I got a green light and jumped back on the 101 south bound and got back on just as the last car was going by.

 

We had a good time

 

I was kind of bored riding by myself at the front of the pack. At least ill you drove up next to me anyway.
