Default Visit Rocky Point? Need some help to save a landmark "C

People that travel down to the area would know the Cedo facility from the large whale skeleton outside. They are a non profit organization that is dedicated to research and the developement of conservation in the Rocky Point area, Marine and Desert life. They have been there for 20 years, basically I cannot even remember them ever not being there! Very much a landmark facility.

In a nutshell and insane lunatic developer has already damaged the facility with his end loader and tried to block access to the facility by cutting off the roads going to it which is hurting camps and other educational works the facility offers. Basically this is an 1980's movie playing out today... ugghhhh.... Basically this developer is a total ***** that cares for nothing other than money in his pocket and is doing this illegally it seems. Cedo has managed to win the first small battle by being able to tear down the fence via court order that this nut put up and needs help.

Cedo in need of donations to help with there legal battles. Marine conservation & study means a lot to me so I thought I would post up in this forum to see if any of you could spare some coin to help them out. I myself am also dropping a fare donation to help them out. Hope you guys feel the same way! Would hate to see this landmark dissapear as my kids will not ever get to enjoy it.

PLEASE HELP GUYS!

well what do they do in the movies...they dance and sing, and have a montage and win some sort of contest with an exorbinant amount of prize money.

or they find incriminating evidence to have the evil real estate developer imprisoned for the rest of their life!

Yeah, we need "push it to the limit" or "eye of the tiger" playing. lol. Good cause though, Jeremy. I have still yet to go to Rocky Point or Mexico in general, but it sounds like a good organization.

i think you should write the head of this real estate development company a letter that if he doesn't stop trying to close this place down, you'll out him and his secret ___ lover to his family and the general public.

you could maybe find a lawyer who would like to take a case like this pro bono since it could be pretty high profile and wants to make a name for him.

I do not know much about it except for what I read and what I am told. What makes this even more of an 80s "save the whatever" deal is the parents of this developer were the ones that originally donated the land! Now the evil spoiled brat kid comes back and wants it all! Man I smell a movie out of this haha.

that is the worst thing i have heard in a while. i have been going to rocky point since '92 with family and freinds. we always go to Cedo, it wouldnt be the same if it was gone.

another "landmark" that is in trouble down there is Chino's Tacos. he was down at the fishmarket for ever and the locals were getting ____ed because he was stealing all there business. needless to say they ran him out of there and he is now set up at the Pemex right outside of Los Conchas. this sucks for alot of peolpe, if you havent had one of his tacos you wouldnt understand.

SAVE CEDO, AND SAVE CHINO!!!!!!

Yeah, for the locals that travel down all the time it becomes a "family sorta thing" As you get to know everyone and everyone gets to know you.
