We did a cruise up to MT. Lemmon not too long ago. Come up with something and I'm sure there will be a good turn out.

I say set up a car wash/detail party. Y'all like your cars clean, gather some cleaning supplies i.e. wash, wax, towels, clay bars, vacuum, all the fun stuff. Gotta do more than park and look at each others cars. or just set up a party in a parks, everyone brings $5, buy some hot dogs and hamburgers, and have BBQ. One problem starting to show here, is the fact that, everyone is so worked up about show cars, no one is talking to each other, you need community events if you want to be a scion community.

We tried to set up a few things and there is no response. That is where you get the "no one is talking to each other" thing. People stay on their own forums now and don't extend an invite to the "community" for any kind of events. I had maybe two or three responses from everyone about doing a BBQ and Kickball or volleyball event. Those two or three responses came from people within the same club. I'd Like to hear some of your ideas.

My favorite was the poker run. Mabey do a scavenger hunt where the participants use a digital camera/phone to take pictures of icons around phoenix. Some can be easy like take a picture of a cactus. Others can be neer impossible like get a picture of kirby bogen being held by holmberg. Prizes can be given for most pictures, most creative picture, most difficult photo, most items in one photo, largest cactus, fattest cat.

im down for a bbq/pot luck.. no car show, just a good old fashioned bbq. this way, the car doesnt need to get cali dusted every 5 minutes, and there is no gripe over trophies or anamocity built up because somebody won and you didnt. i think it would be awesome if somebody had a contact with a bowling alley, cheap to do, fun, beer for those that want it (and no need to get a permit for a park through the city) and good times. in the end, everybody is inside, away from the cars and chatting. i may have the connection to do this down here, but dont know how many people would be willing to drive all the way down here for this since the majority of the scene is around the phx area.

I've had a great idea for a yard sale/garage sale scavenger hunt for a while but never had much response on it. Now that it's cooled down I think it would be a good time for it again.
