Your choice, but I would try to get some local news coverage on the very poor response by the security guard and, in turn, the hospital for accepting that sort of performance a "OK."

I'd start with the local newspaper, and move on to local TV stations if I had to.

(Yes, I've done such in the past myself when going into battle with a large outfit. I did a 'phone interview with a local newspaper reporter, and she set up sending a photog to take some 'interest' shots (and yes I ended up in the paper). Eventually even the Feds got involved and THAT problem is now taken care of... It really does help, sometimes, to expose this sort of thing to the public. So long as the Hospital can keep it quiet, nothing will change.)

^^ Randy and I have been talking about doing that for the longest time. We should all set up a date and do it. In the meantime, I'll be caught with it before I'm caught without it.

I'd love to know what all he did. Did he write down a license number of the getaway car? Did he provide a description to the police? Did he call the police? Or did he just sit on his fat ___ and pick his nose?

Almost sounds like he's in on it or getting paid off. He should not be allowed to keep his job. Inform the security company he works for. Inform the hospital. And I agree with informing the media. I'm sure they'd love to hear about this apparently non-isolated incident.

Glad the wife is okay.

I do appreciate all the suggestions from everyone....including the tv coverage, but I do have a lawyer that is going to help me make sure these boneheads get what they deserve...it's going to cost me up front but at this point I would like to make Mr. Security Guys live as difficult as I can...By the way I do know his name and he did give a description of the vehicle.."it was a truck" "uh black I think" and his description of the suspects was "they were dark skinned males"....this dude's an absolute genius....nothing get's past him....

anyways..

Thanks again to all....

You know that RJ and I live out here in that area, and we have alot of new construction going on. I'd say, we give him a shovel and start digging a foundation for himself.
