Im an idiot, there Ive said it! I bought my tC in March and I knew my job was not that reliable. Well sure enough I lost my job so I put the tC up for sale to get out of the payment until I can find an alternative way to make a living. I was curious if anyone else in the midwest had sold their tC lately and how much they got for it. I look on ebay now and then and it seems like the scions are not selling at all! I dont understand this seeing as this spring they were selling faster than they could keep them on the lots, and out west they pay OVER sticker price. But the cars in autotrader, cars.com and ebay are not moving even at fair prices. Im not even getting any phone calls or interest on my car and its priced below everything else online with the same milage.

So if you have sold a used scion recently Id like to hear about it and maybe how much you got for it. I need to get out of the payment but Im starting to think my only chance is to trade it in on something worth much less. But I REALLY dont want to do that unless I have no choice because Id get hosed on the value. Im open to opinions. Thanks!

 

Sell it to a dealer, depending on what your payoff is...you could come out a little on top.

Scions have taken a decline in our local market, evident with the new models due to be released.

I got out back in late 05 only cuz I couldn't resist the offer, doesn't hold true today though.
