I am posting this up early to give you guys plenty of time to save for the trip and get the time off.

Sometime in May of 2006 (week to be determined later) I am putting together a drive out to the Dragons Tail and the Cherohala Skyway at Deal's Gap. This ia a mountain pass along the TN and NC borders. It's a stretch of road that is 11 miles long and has 318 corners!



Knoxville is nearby for hotels. I was thinking about driving out there on a Wed. and Thurs. Driving the mountain roads Fri.-Sunday, then driving back Monday and Tuesday the next week. That way if you can't request as much time off, you can drive out with us on the Wed. and Thurs. drive the moutain roads, then drive back on the weekend.

What do you guys think? I want to round up as many Scions for this as possible.

We are getting this group together in Minneapolis, we could arrange a meeting place in sourthern IN or OH on our way down there if you are interested in going with us.

 

yes i was planning this last year but no one wanted to go becosue ummm a fear of death or some thing dumb like that


but im down if i have my civic done by then and i can trust it to go that far it will go but if not the tc will stuggle to handle the insane curves they have there


lets go late may so at night we can hit up some bars at night im sure there are some redneck ___ bars there hell this could be our scion meet that every one wants to do (every one being me and like 2 other forum members lol)

 

Forget the Civic, I want you to drive your tC.

End of May sounds good. I will pick the days a little closer to the event, like maybe in Janurary.

 

awww but the civic will run 18 psi on a 1.6l sohc d16z6 and should have a power to weight ratio coparible to a vett lol but ok ok ill bring the nice looking car lol dont know if ill have mutch else done to it at that time though since its just my daily driver now not my car im trying to race

 

Come on people, this is gonna be fun.
