i dont like to show the car until its done.

it kinda defeats the purpose because it takes away from the awe factor.

if ppl see a car that 95% done, then the owner finished the other 5% and shows everyone theyre like o well, big deal, its only a couple more things.

whereas, if you wait and show it when its 100% done it just makes the reveal that much better.

(i do know what you mean with a car is never done though)

i prefere to think of it as diff versions though. lol

x2.

i thought merc's was completely done; then he changed his color scheme. so proves there's always something you'll want to do or change

Rumor has it that APG sold them..... Guess there will be changes for mostly outdoor events for the 2009 season. Also, they will no longer be an NCCA judged event.

like i said, i like to think of it as versions. lol

cuz while a car is never done, it can be done to a certain extent.

and i think the reason alot of ppl change it up every year isnt because they get bored of it, its because the same exact car will not win trophies at events year after year if the judges are the same.

you can certainly win awards year after year with the same car. been showing my xB for almost four years and hit the same show over and over. altho I was off my game in 07. I figured out how to win over the HIN judges. one is not to be stuck up about your car.

even if the judges are the same you wont lose points by keeping the car looking the same, you might lose "originality points" but that cant hurt too much...
if your car is big in the scene ppl will just get tired of looking at it after time

but really, you should just build it for yourself and not points or anything else...

i doubt it.
its not a scion sponsored evernt, it just so happened that alot of scions showed up because they have been dominating the car scene lately. (poor hondas are getting shoved in the back, lmao)

i think nightshift is more fun than the indoor one. but thought nightshift 07 was better than this year. this year seemed like everything was too cramped together.

only way to see the race drivers is if their schedule intercepts ours. highly unlikely altho Chris Forsberg was at Nightshift this year. wouldn't been neat if took his car out for some powerslides
