These are pictures from my recent accident 3 weeks ago. A hit and run.. we got side swiped forcing the car into a spin. i was in the passenger seat.. my daughter behind me. and my fiance was driving. i was in the hospitle for a weak with many internal injuries.. i dislocated my sholder from teh force of the seat belt.. as i was ejected from the tC. Let the pics explain my accidnet.. My parents showed up to clean out my car and became very upset as i sholdnt have really lived form this accident.

 

GEEZ! hit and run, ick, hate that, i've been lucky not to be in an accident yet! and did you say your parents were upset that you survived? or do you mean upset as in like emotional/sad, kinda sounded odd..

ya im the only one who got messed up =( and as for my parents.. they became emotionally upset .. as kinda like disturbed at the sight of what shouold have happened.

 

OMG! that was horrible... and what?! your parents was upset that you lived? why? well actually i don't want to know... but i'm glad all you guys were fine...

 

I don't know if it's just me but did the airbags deploy??? Just glad everyone's alive and breathing with that magnitude of a crash.

no the air bags did not go off .. stupid side curtain airbags.

 

I know what that's like when your parents are like that, not from car accidents though, I had open heart surgery august of 03 and my dad being a doctor and my mom a nurse knew everything that was going on which helped me understand everything but scared them even more because they knew all the real problems and risks etc.. i can't even imagine how hard it would be on a family and patient w/o that kind of knowledge available though, i'm lucky to be here in my tC!

really glad to know you came out ok, how was the hospital food? i remember it not being that great.. and that i wasn't really hunger ever, did they do any sort of procedural correction on your internals?

Wow, thats one of the worst accidents I have seen in a while. Actually, its one of the worst that I have seen. Its a miracle that everyone is ok.

 

Let me get this straight. You HAD the side curtain airbags? And they didn't go off? That's nuts!

No friggin' way! No airbags went off? Not even the side airbags!!??

I would deffinetly contact scion and let them know that your side airbags didnt go off. I am not a sue happy person, but obviously there is something wrong if they didnt go off....unless you didnt have them.
