Default i hate stupid drivers

i went to school this morning and parked my car, as i walk to the door of the school, i noticed that their was a car trying to park next to my car, it was really close but i figured the person driving must know what their doing so kept walking, then i looked back just to make everything was ok, and the passinger seat of her car door was into my front passanger bumper, (i was backed into the spot) and ran back, and told her back up so we can see the damage, and it was very bad. it looks like im going to need a new painted bumper, and since it was private property, there is no fault. which means i might have to make the claim on my insurance. and i had just made a claim the other day for a totaled car. ill probobly post up pics later once i get some, does anybody know what to do in a situation like this

Man that sucks.. I had sort of the same thing happen cept I was on the freeway.. I was in the far right lane and it was dead stop.. the 2nd to the right lane was pretty wide open and the 3rd lane again was stopped.. I had my blinker on for about 10 seconds making a lane change to that 2nd lane from the far right lane and some douche slams into the front left of my car.. It's all cosmetic damage but still.. people need to pay more attention!!

I think the private parking lot must have some kind of insurance to cover this stuff.

Hope everything is solved soon!!

All private property has to do with it is the cops will not come out to make a police report. You can still get her insurance information and have them pay for it.

MI as I know it is No Fault. Meaning there was no fault to the accident so it goes on your insurance.

private property is not as private as you say... if the school caught on fire the police would come then... all you need to say is that you need a police report for your insurance. this happened to me on private property and the other driver was not cooperating with me so the police did come out.

You DO NOT have to go throught your insurance. private property doesnt mean bumper cars... get her info and have her insurance cover it, or go to the police station and give them the info there for the report...

A dude in a monster truck backed over an old lady in a Food Lion parking lot and then rolled over her again as he drove forward. He had no idea he did it because he was so high up and his country music was blasting so loud. The only reason the woman survived was the size of the tires. The woman could not do a damn thing about it because it was on private property.
