Lean on Startup
i came in contact with a big problem yesterday....my oil rings fryed in my turbo, so i bought a new 42 trim T3 turbo today. I popped it on and my car is running extremely weird. I did downsize from a 60 trim to a 42 trim, but would that effect the idle ARF an extreme amount?? because its now holding solid at around 16 on my aem wideband. Im only running 6 lbs of boost, and it has been running great for a while. but since i downsized the turbo its been running super lean. i havent drove it yet because its kinda scaring me lol, so i dont know what the AFR's are yet at cruise and boost
did you reset your ecu ? do you have a fmu ?
i would think it would change alot because of different spool characteristics going to a different trim.your air flow has changed...i am guessing
but i might be wrong someone chime in on this!

1AZ was right. the difference in the spool is what made the ecu freak out. so i just reset the ecu and reset my base map and gave it time to relearn. all problems have been solved. Thanks you guys for your help
