I'm new. Thought i'd say hi. been looking at the xB for a while now but finally got to a dealer on thursday. Dealer had a black xB on the lot (pretty standard but I was actually impressed with everything that came standard for the price). Anyway I discussed doing a dealer trade to get me a salsa red. He said he'd try. In the meantime I got online and started searching dealer inventory in my area and found a salsa red xB about 45 mins away. When my sales guy called me back he told me all he could find was the gray xB. I told him we'd be in touch with him later. In my mind I actually said "WONG!". I called the other dealership imediately and told the salesman that its a done deal, I'm approved with Toyota and I'll be in to sign the papers if the salsa red xB was still on the lot. He called me back and told me it was there. He took my information, had everything ready to sign and all I had to do was show up, sign, take the keys and go. I bet it was the easiest sale this guy ever got.

I hated to trade my tiburon for what looks like a mini van (i think they call it a wagon?). But I have a baby girl and the car seat just wouldn't fit in the back of the tib. I'm pleasantly suprised with the xB. For the price, fule efficiency, size and options that come standard you just can't beat it. I think I'm really going to like it. When I saw my friend today his reaction was "What the hell? what is that?". After looking through it and seeing what it comes with he said he'll make it his next car. Who doesn't like to save money? Anyway... I look forward to getting to know you all.
