I mean it wont benefit us. Just other parties since we take up all the space on the forums. Its sucks for indy, mil, and whatever the great lakes consist of of because we storm everything. So it makes it harder for them to find stuff. Like i know we can care less as to us having our own forum on here since were used to taking up everything on here. It'll just benifit other states, thats all.

you can always go with it and see how it turns out... start with chicago.. once you see if it works or not then you can do it to the other states!

wont hurt!

but those smaller chapters that use the G/L forum use mostly their own webisite more and try to generate interest from outside on S/L.

My bad, not sure how I got St Louis on that poll! Oops.

OK guys, I haven't forgotten about this. I'm getting very close to adding a few new forum areas to handle the additional people that arrive at the site every day.

I want to clarify that I am not breaking up the regional areas that we currently use. I will not be fracturing them into smaller pieces. I am simply going to add a SUB-forum that so that the highly-concentrated population areas will not clutter the rest of the region's chatter, and vice versa.

At this time it seems that we definitely need a Chi-town Metro to simplify things. Once that new subforum is created we will move all of the topics regarding that area into the new forum and this current top-forum will be used to discuss all events outside of Chicago but inside the region.

This will help everyone outside of Chicago meet others that are in their area without the clutter of Chi topics.

This is your last chance to voice your opinion. Changes are imminent!

I do like the idea of Chicago posts being seperated out. Being from Indy, I don't really look in here as much as I should because all the events seem to be in chitown and this may make the GL forums more useful for me. I visit Chicago about every 6 weeks and will still look to see if anything is going on when I will be heading that way. I would say any large meets in the chicago area could still be posted in the general GL forum, so everyone sees it.

Hopefully it will help everyone in the region, I'm glad to hear that people are happy about the change. Usually I get lots of rants!
