Default Purchased a '05 Scion tC

Hello all, I just purchased a Scion tC the other night and I LOVE it so far.

I have an XM player, but trying to figure out the best way of hooking it up.

Secondly, what level of tint do you recommend? My car is all black...

Any other suggested mods that you just can't live without?

Thanks!

it all depends. check your local laws to see what the legal limit. also, if you live in the middle of nowhere where the streets aren't well lit, it can really make it hard to see your turning if your tint is too dark. i have 20% on my silver tc and it looks great.

as for mods you can't live without, again, that is personal preference. most people can't live without exhaust, or some people must have a spoolin turbo charger, while others are happy with some stiffer suspension, or a huge subwoofer in the trunk.

the only thing i can't live without is a clutch. the rest is for kicks and giggles.

20%? Thanks for the suggestion. Ive never had a 'nice' car before to actually add onto.

I'd like a nicer system, but it's not #1 on my list. I just need to look around for a body kit/head and tail lights.

meh, in my opinion, body kits are last on my to-do list for several reasons:
1. you drive your car, you don't really see what it looks like from the inside so much, and it doesn't make it more fun to drive on the open road, or more enjoyable when your sitting in traffic.
2. people notice the car more, so every ricer wants to race it, every cop wants to pull it over, and theives figure if you got money to spend on the outside, you must of spent a good deal on goodies on the inside, so they might smash your window to see if you got some nice i.c.e. for the taking.

i'm not saying don't do a body kit, just saying prioritize somewhat, my 05 is nearly stock on the outside save for oem foglights, carbon fiber b-pillar applique, and a lip spoiler. i enjoy my trd intake/exhaust, zpi crank pulley, and dezod motorsports brake package more than my cosmetic bells and whistles.

antenna for sure! get one of your local element! lol..

springs is nice. but all depends what you want and the roads you drive on. are you looking into speed...or just looks...start from there and just stick to one!
