depends...you can use "rattle can". duplicolor makes a great interior paint ...but requires prep work such as sanding. the paint can only look as good as each surface its covering...for example raw material, primer, sealer, base, clear. medic uses a "no-prep" paint which seems ok but the surface must be clean, silicone free.
im not a fan of either, but i have access to other body shop materials making me a piant snob. its just hard to get a uniformed pattern out of a can. so beware of sags, drips, dirt flaking and peeling.
as andrew said, if your more concerned about a "shine" thats gonna require a good clear coat, and if desired...even wetsanding and rubbing after the paint cures. clear in a can is pre-hardned and dries very fast. so is the base color paint for that matter. be careful of the paint "eating itself" paint out of a can sometimes has laucqer in it and too many coats, or heavy coats can bite into eachother.
i have seen many awesome paint jobs done by rattle can but ive seen some sketchy ones as well. just take your time, read directions, as each paint can have specific methods, dry times, cure times etc..
with smaller projects like your waterfall, i dont see you having any problems, let me know if i can help.

if your thinking to yourself, "well why arent james' painted parts shiny and glossy?" well thats because i did NOT clear coat mine. i used a single stage base coat, and added hardener to give a lil shine but nothing outta control. the old rad rods had more of a enamel look and also i didnt wanna be blinded by the sun with my dash ( which clear coat tends to do ).

SPOTTED! Sorry I didn't get a pic, but I spotted a Black Beautiful tC in the tCF bank in Ypsi. Omg I'm bad with names but I think her name was Danni or Danny or...I maybe totally off... sorry I was too excited to remember. Anywho, she lives near us. I told her about the tCruise coming up tomorrow night, we'll see what happens...

lol I didnt get a pic but apperently she told me she snapped one of me Wow... this is kinda pathetic... I keep hitting f5 to see if she posted.
I want to put this out there for the Team. As you see in my signature or you just know I work with Scionpro. Now cross your fingers and knock on wood, I am going to finally be repainting my car mid June and as part of this I am going to be getting some things shipped to me from Scionpro.
As a result of this expected shipping I am offering the team a group shipping saving opportunity. Take a look at our site and let me know if there is anything you are interested in ordering. I will see what I can do to get you the best deal possible. Also we are trying to add more parts so if there is something you are looking for we may be able to get it. We just added Descendent, HD Wheels, AccuAir suspension, and I think Borla and Magnaflow. Trying to decide what line of intakes to offer. Also have our own brand of coil overs and deals on Easystreet Air Ride kits. Hit me up if you need price quote.
Hope to find some free time to make it to a meet or two.

Also I forgot to add, the reason I am offering this is I can combine shipping to me and that saves money for you. I live in Royal Oak and work in Livonia for easy pick up options.
Hey it took me almost 2 years before I bought my SE:Detroit shirt so all in due time.

This rain has been ____ing me off. My car is so dirty now
Friday (tomorrow) should be cool, I'm bringin my camera to capture the tC madness, I just hope the weather is better tomorrow than it has been today and yesterday
.... I say even if it rains we should all meet up anyway to get some epic rain shots of all the tC. Also, if it does rain and if people are down, we could go bowling or go karting instead
@ ogerdgonz, looking forward to seeing what you do with your box.
When do you think you're going to be placing your order with ScionPro?
I'm really interested in buying one of their dead pedals, if I could get it WITHOUT the holes cut in it. All I want is the "tC" cut out, and the rest blank. If this is possible I am 100% down to get in on your group order

Hey there, I'll probably stop by tomorrow for the woodward cruising if I get off of work early enough. Shoot me a time and I'll see if I can get out there.

I have to look into the bbq, the place they are doing it at (Hines Park) is notorious for flooding. Wayne county already has shut down half of the park due to flooding. If it does go through it is absolutely free, no charge for anything. I'll keep everyone updated.
I will be out there around 8. What time are you guys meeting up?
I'll text Elliot when I get out there if you are out cruising. Will we be using radios?
