Default There's a snowstorm out there!!!

Chicago just recently got hit with a ridiculous snowstorm. Some areas are getting up to 15+ inches of snow within the past couple of hours. Where are my drivers? This will be the first batch of snow that my RS2 will be seeing. Of course i'm hesitant to take it out bc i dont want salt to eat away on my paint. I dont wanna feel like a bc i dont wanna take it out. Anyone that has been affected of this storm? Share your stories.

I drove up to Fort Wayne, Indiana today through sleet and snow. The worst was seeing the large puddles turned ponds with white-cap waves. The wind was throwing me all over the highway.

Down state IL got hit pretty bad so my tC was put in the garage and I drove the truck. I am not one to chance it if dont have to. I get pushed around in strong winds, I was not going to chance the .5 in of ice and 4 in of snow.

You're in Normal? I am in Bloomington, and yeah, the roads suck. I took the xB out today after having it garaged since Wednesday. My street is pure ice.

I decided to fight the snow this year with a set of steelies and Pirelli Winter Carving's. Best $400 I ever spent at Tire Rack so far! These tires are ridiculously sticky, even in snow. I'm impressed so far.

well I put the wheel that came with my car back on, although I got them back all F'ed up I still put them on. I'm going to have to wait till I get a little cash so that I can put new tires on the 17s.. they promised me replacement but I think that person is full of SH-T, since it only took him like 3 month to return them in the fist place

oh god, my car went out on the snow for the first time today, it was only an inch, I was spinning all over the place. the tires only have 2000 miles on them. Anyone else experience this?
Any more recomendations for tires?
