Default Used xB pricing from the dealer

So one of my best friends is tired of driving his '02 Mitsubishi Lancer (it's coming up on 80K and little problems keep popping up that he's just tired of dealing with) and is looking into getting either an xB, a Matrix or ::shudders:: an Element.

Looking around here in Milwaukee, not too many dealers have any used xBs... he's looking for an automatic xB for around $11K (problem is, he has about $3K in negative equity since he owes way more on his Lancer than it's worth).

Any dealers in Chicago/Milwaukee/Madison have any used xBs and might be willing to work with someone on a trade?

All the used xB's I've seen around here are $15k-$16k, might as well get a new one....

Does anyone know if pure pricing would apply to a 2004 demo that's still on the lot?

Default Used xB's

I work for a dealer in Indiana. The market is so strong on scions right now that aren't really depreciating much. If I go to the auction to buy used ones I pretty much pay sticker for them, or at least within $1000 of it. I have 3 used xB's ranging from 14k-17k. Camo, Silver w/ borla exhaust and other extras, indigo ink. all have alloys. good luck!!!

You must not work at a toyota dealership because if you did you would know about the RS 3.0 xB

My friend ended up getting an '04 Matrix for a pretty good deal, but the funny thing was that when I dropped him off at the lot one of the salespeaople asked him if I wanted to trade my xA in. I could actually make money selling my car and it's only a year old! But I love my Marshie, so I'm gonna keep her for a while longer... at least until the RS 3.0 xAs come out later this year!

Ok, the release series. we don't see many of them so its not a common topic of discussion for me. honestly I'm not sure what they go for used, maybe 500-700 more than a regular xB at the auction. Cost on the new ones is 700 below MSRP[/img]
