I failed with Carmax. Hard to explain what is a "Car Show" to a sales consultant who doesn't know what is a car show when you're dog tired. lol

Reason why I think Gentile wouldn't mind doing one is, July 4th '08 Racine parade they borrowed every dealer customize Scion in Milwaukee & Chicago and drove them in it. And also last year, they gave Scion wheel covers to Racine area high schools' art departments. Did art contest and hang them in the showroom. Gave $250 to the best one.

Racine is about 25 minutes away from the Illinois stateline and 30 minutes away from Milwaukee (on a good day)

There's a high school with huge parking lot that's about two minutes away from the dealer. Appx. could least 200-300 cars? Harley Davidson dealer across the street used to use this lot for learning riding classes.

This show WILL have to be on a Saturday! Fridays are usually HS football game night there; all Racine area HS' use the same football field.

 

Ah ok, have a addy to the dealer? If we can get at least 3 of us it would be cool.

I'm just saying Saturday if they want to do it at night. I know the Mount Pleasant police department will be bunch of bums and want to be there too.

 

We should be talking to them asap if we want this to be a before Halloween kinda show, since it takes a little while to plan things out plus getting the word out in enough time. Anyone willing to help talking to them sometime this saturday?? I think doing it like the weekend before should be good since doing it day of Halloween I doubt is going to be a good turn out.
