Well the other day I lost traction and Fed my front bumper up. My baby took a wicked slide into a curb and hit a frozen snow bank. I need a new front bumper now.. any suggestions stick with OEM or another clean conservative aftermarket bumper?

 

Stick with OEM.

 

Thats what I've been thinking too. I just dont like any other bumper except the OEM. Maybe I can find a cheap front lip and have my body shop mold it on when they re-paint everything

 

I wouldn't bother w/ molding it to the bumper in WI. One ice clump and it'll crack.

 

Well thats the thing. I'll keep the bumper I have on right now and use it next winter. A simple bumper switch would def make it worth molding it

 

I wish I could do that with the switching off bumpers but I already hit a chunk of ice a yr or two back and all i got was a scratch from it luckily, but I just have to be careful since my kit isn't cheap to replace thats the only thing that sucks.

Yeah I can't imagine how much it would cost to replace that RS kit. Now I'm on the hunt for a front lip. I wish I could find someone selling the OEM front lip

Must've been that other chick with the RS3 in the area, I didn't take my car out yesterday. I would've def recognized you, I don't miss a single tC. lol
