So I figured this would only be appriceated in the wisconsin thread.
I just got back from being with ahman green from the packers for lunch for the last few hours. He was sitting at the table next to me and we started talking about cars for a good 20 mins. Turns out he owns a 1967 Shelby Cobra mustang 500GT, Elenore from gone in 60, dudes really cool and down to earth.

Yeah we did! I was hoping there was gas station or fast food joint to meet at. But your work was the only place to meet up at. LOL When I pulled into the parking lot and saw your CSM; I thought you might of drove with him. I thought that was quite ironic.

Nick, did you get those tails installed yet? I wanted to show you how to installed them but I was quite out of it due to not sleeping yet.

Getaforknjob, check your PM's.

All the rest of you, I'll keep you updated on high speed events going on at the Milwaukee Mile. Our club up here likes to try and rent the track out for a couple days during the summer to get some high speed track time several times a year. I'll see what I can attempt to get organized.

I don't know how many of you own old cars too... anyone going to Jefferson? I need to stop out and get a set of wheels for the '66 Plymouth.

I was there last year for the late summer dates. I hope one day I don't walk in there with 7k or I'll drive off with '60s Beetle. Yeah laugh, I want one.

My great uncle works for Indy & always had business connections when he was working as chairman for his company. He retired now so he is a tour guide there.

I've been tempted to ask him if one weekend to go down there and see if he could pull some strings to let me drive a lap around the track. I'll be happy to do it @ the same speed as the tour vans. So anyone wants to go Indy for a special tour or Indy 500 & Brickyard; I'm your gal.

I'll be up to do the Milwaukee Mile later this summer. By then; I'll have my new wheels & tires.

I may also have my Celica All Trac ST165 up and running by then. Just bought a 4th gen 3sgte out of a Caldina ST215 for it today. Should be here next week. From there I convert it run E85, do the brake lines, and BAM! Done. Hope I have the funds to finish this project this summer.

I got them installed...saw the water damaged tint on them.
And noticed a row of LED's out on the passenger side..did you know those were out?
I haven't gotten time to fix them yet, but they'll be a good set of protect tail lights!

No I never knew they were burned out. They were sitting in the factory box since summer of '07. Maybe it was a good thing I didn't try selling them. I paid dealer MSRP in '07; I think 340 or 380 bucks. Reason why I decided to tint them couple months ago cause of the water damage. I did it when it was in early 20s degrees so I knew about the small "miss" spots. I did put a clear coat for plastics over the tint.
