There's going to be one in Indy? I've been trying to get some info about it but only Ohio keeps coming up unless you're saying that's the one & its somewhere near the IN/OH statelines?

If its in Indianapolis, I'll go. I have relatives there so I can spend the couple days overnight for free.

 

something up my sleeve; but having a 2 tone car and then throwing in just a randon black carbon hood looked ricey as hell when i photoshopped it (made it look like cars you see running around with various colored fenders, doors, ect...) but you'll still see some carbon on it ;) (the weave at least will be seen )

Indy is only 4 hours away from Chicago. If you're crazy enough, you could make it a one day trip. Leave @ 4-6 am on Sat morning & leave right after the show. You'll probably get home around 1-3 am Sunday. I would do it but if my relatives heard I was in Indy and didn't stop by; they will kill me. lol

 

its easy to make that a one day trip. i did when i came up to get that hood lol. cuz milwaukee is 4 hours from where i live. i'm still debating exposed cuz there's a local charity show and stereo competition that my buddy puts on that i have gone to every year for the last 3 years just like elmhurst being same day as a huge show here; people need to learn to schedule stuff better!!! lol

 

I'm with you -- I used to get pulled over like CRAZY in my corolla. I haven't been pulled over once and they could ticket me in a sec because of my tint. (knock on wood as well). mine's pretty much stock rs 5.0 with just 35% tint.

 

Do you drive with a radar detector?

My last ticket was in September '09 then after that was back March '09. Both in IL.

Last WI ticket was in '08.

Seems like I was getting pulled over more with one than without one.

5x with one & 3x without one.

Now I play "Cat & Mouse" with cops. You know they stalk you waiting for you not to pay attention, start a street race with you, or stay at your blind side waiting for you to speed up. I usually drop down to the speed limit while watching their actions in the rearview mirror. If they don't take the hint, I'll drop down to 2-3 mph below the speed limit. They usually get the hint then and speed up to pass. So it seems that I win all the time. LOL Been doing this since MSNs artcle "Scion tC is the Most Ticketed Car in the Nation"

Living in Winona, Minnesota for six months...Cops tailgated you so BAD that you got ____ed. Of course, you'll speed up, right? They pulled you over. I had one bad case; that the cop was so close I could clearly see his face in the rearview mirror. I may of dropped out Winona State didn't learned anything. Least I learned how to deal with driving around cops. LOL
