Default why blue over white?

I have spent many years as a proffesional detailer and i know alot about enviromental effects on paint. the main reason is clear coat. a white paint with out metalic in may not be a clear coat paint, it will oxidize and and look egg shell like if not properly maintained. not to mention fall out (orange micro dots from acid rain) road tar and tree sap. also if your white car needs any repainting through out its life span it is impossible to match the colors. paint mixing is very sensitive with white colors. It's not that i have anything against the color white, its just i think the benifits of having a clear coat metalic paint is better than not!
ps: there is a white xa automatic at smart motors scion in madison west side!
peace tjd!

Not that I don't believe you (I do, honest!), but anyone out there seen this first-hand, or have a white car and have any thoughts?

I'll probably be making the trip out to Madison this weekend to check it out... Saturday morning I'm placing my order at Safro, and in the afternoon I'll check out the white one at Smart and see if I should change my order from Polar White to Indigo Ink.

Default the white xa at smart motors!

the white xa is here and is automatic! i took it home for a weekend it was so much fun! You can park that thing any where! it was even better at night with the fogs and the whiteface / blackface gauges! that was the second xa i drove, the first one was the silver with the 19" trd racing hart rims I had to drive it to the auto show in january at the alliant energy center! i guess that it has been to all the scion shows! the regional scion rep drives it now!
peace tjd.
