Default Question About Building A tC Under @21,000

Hey everyone. I respect all your opinions so I have a question. If you had a blue ribbon metallic 09 tC automatic. You could build the car up qith accesories from Scion up to $21,000 ,what would you pick? What do you think would look good with that color, with that price range. I know $2,500 isn't alot, but I am curious on what would you guys put on and would be priority.

Looking foward to your opinions bc i need your help.

hmm good question. i'd probably get the rear lip spoiler and the audio system upgrade. i'd spend most of the money on after market parts

for me...fogs, illuminations, lighted door sill enhancements, leather seats, b-pillar appliques, cf-dash, leather seats, alarm system, lojack.

i mean, you can't get alot of performance mods for for $2100, just the lowering springs, shocks and sway bars, but there are lots of other choices there. so i'd get the stuff that makes it look like it is a more expensive nicer car.

Put the OEM lip kit on it. I don't know about the price, but I think it looks pretty good.

Im pretty sure the OEM lip kit is about a G Note already....

But like everyone says...i thinkn the TRD Drop, front Strut, and sway bars.

any other accesories from Scion IMO cost way to much for what they are. People who are gonna mod thier tC will find cheaper options in wheels, intake, exhaust, ect.

that Blue Ribbion Metallic wold look good with a drop, lipkit, and rear lip spoiler for the show room.

Hope all works out bro.

And get that dent fix yo! ;0)

Bigger rims maybe, not sure what the dealership stocks or what prices are, I know that $1800 for a set of 18's on the 1gen xB was pretty insane.

lol im working on that dent man thanks!!! lmao

yea i mean we dont like adding anything to our cars, but we realized not having anything made customers that never heard of scion not want to get options bc they were reluctant on how they looked. and keep in mind im talkin about the customers that rather pay extra so the dealer does it bc they dont like putting there own time and effort into there own cars, which isnt bad but you guys get what i mean. so we got 4 cars in our showroom and we are decking out all of them. we have a 23,000 xb. the xd all we did was a sunroof and now im in charge of the tc.

yea bc we just sold our show tc. it was the same price as the one i just built, but with different options. they knew about the aftermarket community but just wanted it all without having to put the time and research into it. didnt care too much about money either. but how many people end up liek that haha. ill take pics of the new navi and of the car when it comes back. should be interesting.

I should do this for a living, but there's no money in it. skip the window tint. build the interior to be shown off without having to drop the windows. make it pop. suspension, skip sway bar as I doubt you'd drive the car above 6/10's. decent adjustable shocks and springs will do the trick with proper alignment. some nice monoblock wheels( meshies are coming back too). find something in chrome. that will make the car shine. it'll be different. not those rainbow wheel from Konig. the rainbow is inconsistent and looks funny when the car is rolling. keep the tails red, keep the headlights stock. PM me for details on that. upgrade foglites in bumper. red the third brakelite.

i'm just going to advise against the limo tint, i mean, this car is meant to display it's potential to the customer right? why would you tint the windows and hide everything from them? people can imagine what a car would look like if you couldn't see through the windows on their own i think.

thnx jim and drax. i never looked at it that way with tints. we normally havent done that but the service manager who does all our options was like " everyone that generation wants limo tints!" ha

those funds can be put into something cooler. that's why I haven't done hardly any lighting on my car. I redirected all my money to get the visual impact. most people don't care about what's inside. then again, my luxury build up isn't supposed to be all lit up and flashy. that would be against my religion

ehh tint i think makes some cars look nicer ( like the darker ones,) but then again it usually depends on the buyer/customizer as some may want it, some may not, some may want dark, some may want lighter amount like a 20%

the one mod i thought of that i think jim mentioned is interior sort of like the clazzio seat covers w/ the heated seats like walter has (since it is illinois and always freezing cold). painting the interior i'm not sure about as i know some like some don't, so its hard to know ahead of time.

you gonna post up pics when you get this done?
