well i did exactly that. i definitely regret it too. i could have a supercharger with all that money, instead i have a bunch of mods that mean almost nothing. see sig and profile for details.

i figured that was the reaction.like i said we arent trying to get people to do that with there tc like spend all the money on exterior mods and stuff, it was just to show people what certain things look like. we had alot of questions with leather, how tints looked with just the 3, how nice the trd wheels look since they are so expensive, how does the trd drop look if they dont want aftermarket, so i think we accomplished that. but yea since ive been here for 2 years, most of the people when i bring up aftermarket, and intake, and stuff, they just end up gettin a spoiler. i figured with how big scionlife is, alot of customers would be wanting what we want and etc.

true i get where you are coming from with doing this. there are people who prefer to buy scions with pre-installed parts, o rjust want some basic stuff done and that's it. i've seen a few dealer built xb's i know i'd love to have just has a DD just because they look bad @$$ with the drop and the set of factory aftermarket wheels.

thanks. yea i mean when all i can sell is scion, i tell people when they walk in and write scionlife.com on my card. i talk about aftermarket items when they ask about certain things, like lowering, intake, and etc. its just crazy how 99 percent of them after all that end up just going with the stuff from the dealer. like i said b4 im very suprised with scion being out there like on scionlife and other sites that i dont get more like " i want that blue ribbon stick tc, that is it, and im doing the upgrades through other comapnies". but yea i totaly agre the ones we build or show atleast are great looking dd's.

should say on the inside of the rim on one of the spokes. one point is the racing harts off the Mazdaspeed protege. not only does it say Hart on one spoke, but Enkei on another. yea, Enkei makes alot of rims like Racing Hart and AME. funny how that works

i would do it same exact way my buddy did his 08 SW tC (manual though, but no biggie)

SW
Full TRD suspension (struts, coils, front strut bar, read sway bar)
TRD shiftknob
TRD exhaust
TRD CAI
OEM lip kit is a MUSTTTTTT
throw a factory tint to set it off
and stay away from fogs, pedestal spoilers, different tails, upgraded sound and such....those things are making the car look like isht..
let the owner worry about sound since most likely he'll toss in a navi anyway....
that's the cleanest tC that i know and seen to this date....

^^ i see and agree with you.but ull be suprised how many people dont go towards performance and go towards the other stuff including sounds. of course ull get that one customer that goes performance or something, but most dont.

it's not even that much about performance...come on who are we kidding it's a tC with a couple of bolt ons...no power increase just better sound and flows better with the car....as far a full suspension well it's just a matter of "one stop shop"

lol yea i love my customers, but some of them i tell them they need to calm down. i rather them not ruin or mess up there brand new car. its like ill say" the trd drop is nice, but u dont want to go to aftermarket and just have a lil drop". and they will be like" itss too low already! instead of the springs i want the tyc taillights".haha most of the time i think its harmless fun, but some people i get are like" oh man i heard u could drop a turbo and get 400 easy man!" they think its soo easy and not time consuming or takes alot of money to do it the right way. we had a guy with a turbo tc and he did it himself, welding, put pipes together, the techs were like" wow, how is this holding up?"

the ones that say the 400 easy were prob honda owners and always will think that lol. i was about the same with the springs and now i'm glad i did the trd's to get rid of the gap; and i have problems scraping with the rs1 lip with TRD red springs; not sure how others do it so low. but like everyone will say; each person has their own taste and preference in modding. the lighting thing it seems alot want eventually anyways if they are showing
