Bumper and Fender (with Liner) for a tC
Has anyone ordered body pannels, fender and/or a bumper from somewhere for a tC and had it shipped to Honolulu or surrounding area? If so where did you get it and how much was the shipping? Did anyone who needed a new fender and/or bumper get it done at a shop?

damn dude, i just installed the whole gfx kit today. took about 5 freakin hours!!! The front lip is the hardest becasue instead of going from the outside in of the bumper, we figured to go inside out. That wannabe vent thing on the sides were messing the dremel tool pathway. Its better to follow the directions on the paper. I went from front to sides to rear.
Another problem is the etched lines in the bumper that guides you where to cut. Just got to watch out becasue the lips are not going to align properly to the cut holes but just enough to go in so you need to warp the bumper a bit to get it in or/and do a little more cutting with the dremel tool to make the tabs fit.
Other than that make sure you have a the right tools and some good buddies that you trust if you decide to do it yourself.
Got it on an it looks cherry!

kitten008 try trdsparks.com they seem reasonable. the thing is that when I got the GFX kit, I thought about going online but i calculated shipping and it was cheaper to get it form the dealer.
As far getting stuff done at a body shop, if you dont know what you are doing, it is best you go to a body shop or you will mess something else up costing you extra.

yep, thats next on my agenda!
I am going with tein basics. Wanted the SS-P but not enough cash and I don't think I will be racing it anytime soon.
Then:
-Wheels - Works Emotion xd9
-CF hood
later probably in november-dec
- Intake - Injen cold air/ ram air conversion
- Exhast - Megan or HKS
- Maybe sounds
If I ever get deployed to Iraq again and come back, most def im going to boost!

ho, this thread went a LITTLE off topic . But yea, getting bodypanels shipped to Hawaii is pretty expensive. For the tC, my hood was like $200 shipping, hatch was like $330 shipping. Might have better luck with the dealership. As for the roads in Aiea/Pearl City, it aint that bad, just be a little careful and angle when you gotta. Oh yea, and stay outta the right lane on Kam HWY going townbound...its all hash!!
