I think it's ugly. All over are these threads on how great it looks if you just... bodykit... blah bal bla... it can't stand on its own. It's thrown together elements smack of focused marketing to maximize sales rather than improving on a tried and true seller in a way that is complementary to its original design.

yuk. You can have it. It's a Toyota and that's great... but it still sucks to my eyes.

My biggest gripe is that raked up beltline a la 60s hot-rod. Yuk!!...and what's up with that front bumper? The middle of it has this look like something is missing... and why only one backup light??? You can keep the swim goggle headlights too and that weirded out rear fenderline. What happened to the nicely bolstered seats?

All this for 8 cubic feet of cargo space and 50 more HP under the hood.

...ahh but what does it weigh???

well, it'll probably grow on me like the original. right now, i think it doesnt look bad with the 5axis body kit and wheels. kinda upsetting tho when people are going to be driving turbo boxes faster than my turbo tc

but ya, as of now, i love the original a lot more than the new.

i likes it. seeing that it would look good with some 18-19's. coming closer to a lowered SUV. LOL. i might trade in one of my boxes for it.

i wouldn't mind to have one, put some staggered 18's or 19's 2" drop, and a nice lip kit would do it for me. my other box i will keep till i die! lol the only thing i don't like is the seats, i guess i'll have to wait till we get one in and sit inside to check it out.

I cant wait for prices to be released and can't wait for the actual roll out. I think I am going to get me one as soon as they come out.

Well, based on what I've read in the forums, everyone that likes it does so on certain conditions... ie. new rims, bodykit, lower it all that. That's all cool and if you want that, hey go for it and be a happy owner.

I'm just a bit disappointed that's all. I DO NOT think it should carry the xB name. It's sooooo far from the original! I think Toyota should have kept the xA name on that car instead of calling it the xD, and give the xD name to the new wanna-be-pimp-daddy SUV that they're calling the new xB!

i think the initial reaction to the new xB is similar to the initial reaction to the first xB. not that it makes you feel any better. but, ( i know i know) with the bodykit, i can see why it's an xB2. and if you really think about it, your our current xB has a lip kit on it. take away that lip kit and it doesn't look anywhere near as good. i would link you the specific picture where it actually looks like a redisgned xB, but i'm lazy

i think it will sell well. i would buy one if i was a billionaire. the 1st gen xb got me into scion. I will be a scion buyer for life now. so i welcome it, plus it's only gonna be out for three years before they come out with a new one anyways. so i wouldn't fret about it. if i was to buy the new xb, it has to have the same price as the old xb, which isn't gonna happen. so i..am...not...gonna buy it. !!!!!
