5300miles later...
I got some curb rash on my rims I miss judged the curb when I was reverse parking at school. I got about a 7 inch gash on the front passenger rim. Looks like i'm gonna have some fun with some bondo and paint over my spring break.
Anyone else curb their rims?

Kevin, It looks like no one will admit to curbing their wheels...lol
That's one of my biggest fears right now with my rims. I had 1 scratch on my last set of wheels in over a year's time. Pretty good, I think, for a girl. Hopefully I'll do even better with this set.
I know that **** sucks though -- makes ya feel sick to your stomach.

It was eventually going to happen, I tried to prevent it as much as I could have, but it only takes one slip up to screw it up. 6months-5300miles, oh well.
I sanded the rim down yesterday with some sandpaper, the wheel is realitively smooth right now, I just need to find some paint to makes it match. It doesnt hurt as much as I thought it would, but i've been staring at it every time I go to the car. I'll get over it sooner or later. I was gonna get new rims, but i'm not sure if I can handle the responsibility of ANOTHER expensive item on my car. I'm going off to college in a year.
I think you will do perfectly fine with your rims! Only thing I would worry about is tire life with those 280hp 20x10. My friend has a Z and I know tires arent cheap! (Just don't tell Jon when you do burnouts, lol)

well then i am not cool.
I don't care if I'm a bit far from the curb, I'm not going near them!
I guess I have had plenty of practice with my truck, the tires sidewalls are so big it only scrapes tire! i didn't park right if I didn't scrape a bit off the tire.
